Which I am finding out as I am unable to drive at the moment.

This week's sponsor over at Friday Sketch Challenge is:

I have used 'Kitty Paintbrush' which I coloured with markers. I added a little chalk and glossy accents to the paint to give it a wet look.
The papers are MME and have been matted onto black card following this fab sketch from the lovely Debs.

The challenge runs for 2 week's. So come on get crafting.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

Decoupage @ Totally PaperCrafts

 Good Morning lovely crafters,

I came out of hospital on Sunday and since then I have spent my time sleeping or going to the hospital to have my dressings changed. I have been told that my sleeping so much is due to having 2 general anaesthesia closely together. People keep telling me to make the most of it but I'm used to being busy so it's not easy.

There's a new challenge starting today over at Totally PaperCrafts
This week Carol is our hostess and has chosen a great theme

'Decoupage'

I decided to use a pre coloured decoupage sheet printed from Katy Sue's Fabulous Shoe's CD. I added glitter to the centres of the flowers and cut the image out using the out of the box technique.

This week's sponsor is

I have used one of their freebie backing papers from here which I thought matched the image well & the design is just fab. I used a plain paper that matched the image from the CD for the mats and also to die cut some spellbinder border dies  which I used with a ribbon for a bit of interest down the side . The sentiment is computer generated, cut out with a circle die and mounted onto a scalloped circle die.

Hop on over to the main challenge blog for some super ideas from my teamies.

I'll be back later with my FSC DT card

Sunday Sketch & Stamp #171

Good Morning,

Hopefully Mr Blogger has posted this scheduled post for me as I'm in hospital at the moment.
Can't wait to get home, get out my laptop and come see what you've all been up to.

Today is the start of a new challenge over at Sunday Sketch & Stamp
I have designed the sketch & Marie is hosting the challenge

This week we are sponsored by Robyn's Fetish
Robyn's Fetish Designs

Here's my card:

I have used English tea cup from this week's sponsor which I printed off 3 times & coloured with Copics & chalks. I used a craft knife and cut a slit round the rim of the bottom 2 teacups & cut off the saucer from the top 2 cups. I then stacked the cups up and hung the sentiment tag to the handle of the centre cup. I used white paper embossed with the dainty dots folder from spellbinders as a backing paper, then added a circle of polka dot paper mounted onto a fancy spellbinder mat which was added to the card. Ribbon was then added before adding the teacups.

Hop on over to the main challenge blog to see what my teamies have come up with.

Enjoy The Bank Holiday!

Fav Colours @ Totally PaperCrafts

Good Morning,

The weekend is nearly here and here's hoping we all have something nice planned.
Alisha, my Granddaughter is staying over for the weekend, well Thursday to Sunday as she phoned to see if I would pick her up a day early. She's still excited to have a new bedroom that has been decorated just for her and loves to spend time in it and I must say she is keeping it really tidy, I wonder how long that will last!!!

Well onto todays card which is my DT creation for this week's challenge over @ Totally PaperCrafts This week Suzette is hosting the challenge an her chosen theme is:

'Favourite Colours'
so we would like to see your paper crafted creations using your favourite colours.

This week's sponsor is Kenny K
The prize is: 5 digis of the winner’s choice.

I have used Frieda Flapper from in store which has been coloured with markers & had some glamour dust added for a bit of sparkle. I love blue & brown together so have mounted a backing paper printed from a Do Crafts CD onto brown card. I have then used the same brown card to mount the image and a piece of paper embossed with the dainty dots folder from Spellbinders.

Hop on over to see what fav colour combos my fellow team mates have chosen.

Love Me Do

Good morning,

The weather here in Northampton looks glorious this morning, blue sky and sunshine, what more can we ask for? I think I might craft in the garden as there doesn't appear to be any breeze, I don't like chasing paper round the garden!

I thought I would share with you this morning a CAS wedding card I made for my stock box, never got enough wedding cards this time of the year

The image is 'Love Me Do' from Wee Stamps, isn't it just so sweet. The image was printed onto white card before cutting to size, this was then coloured with markers, mounted onto black card before mounting onto a card blank. What more is there to say, simples!

Have a great day!

I would like to enter:

Sunday Sketch Challenge #169

Good Morning,

I must say I am getting quite used to being at home and not rushing off to work every morning. I've now been off just over 4 weeks and have more surgery planned on the 20th August. I have been told that I will be off work for at least 4 weeks after my next op and will probably not be able to craft for a while:( I have been busy this last week trying to get all my DT cards made and scheduled up till the middle of September, I've never been so organised!! I hope Mr Blogger behaves now!!!

I must apologise for not commenting on your beautiful creations of late.
But let me reassure you I have been to visit you all.
I am hoping to take my laptop in with me, fingers crossed they'll let me use it.

There's a new challenge starting today over at Sunday Sketch & Stamp with this super sketch by the lovely Ann Marie for us to follow

Here's my card following the sketch:

I have used a  image from Tiddly Inks - Wryn Blooms which I coloured with Copics & chalks. The papers are from The Shabby Princess from 2 different collections in the free download section. In a graphics programme I picked the colour from the backing paper to print off a piece of plain yellow paper. I used this to cut out a circle which I embossed to mat on top of the Spellbinders fancy circle die that was distressed with Tea Dye distress ink. The image was then cut out and mounted on top of the circle. The sentiment is one I've had printed off a while, I think it was from a Do crafts CD.

Why not hop on over to the main challenge blog for more details of this week's challenge and some great inspiration from my teamies.

Friday Sketch Challenge # 49

Good Morning my lovely friends in blogland,

Well whilst being off work sick I have project managed a makeover on the bedroom for my Granddaughter Alisha. She arrived yesterday for the weekend and was over the moon, it was a treat to see her face which made the up evil worth it. The only trouble is she now see's it as her room and has forbidden my Daughter who stays over quite regularly to sleep in there.

Onto my card today:
I have to confess I am late posting this, I have no good reason why as the card was made well in advance I just forgot!

There is a new challenge (which started yesterday) over at Friday Sketch Challenge
The sketch has been designed by the lovely Shirley which you can rotate or flip as you wish.

I rotated the sketch to suit the image I was using

I have used a Hunkydory kit that I got free with a magazine a while ago and never got round to using
All that I have added is some embossed paper and some pearls from my stash, Easy Peasy!

Hop on over to the main challenge blog for more takes on the sketch.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Inspired by a Song @ Totally Papercrafts

Good Morning Everyone,

What a scorcher it was yesterday & I do believe it's gonna be again today. I try to sit outside but have to keep returning to the front room which stays lovely and cool.

There is a new challenge starting today over at Totally Papercrafts & the theme chosen by Susan is

'Inspired by a Song'

now I know lots of you out there really love this theme but I must say I found it really difficult. I think I thought about it too much & keep changing my mind on which song to choose! I started with.. 'I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas'
and ended up with
 'Girls just Wanna Have Fun'
Not much difference ha!

Well this is what I came up with:

The image is from Stamping Bella called Victoria and Juliette's Night Out. I have coloured in the image with  markers, chalks & pee wee glitters, I have used glossy accents on the glasses. The flowers are a double layer of punches & dies to which I have added glitter & glittered card candi to the centres. The border die is from spellbinders.

We have 2 sponsors offering prizes this week

&

Hop on over to see if you were a winner of last week's challenge and to see what the team A DT have created to inspire you this week
