Image free @ MAWTT

Good Morning everyone,

I'm hosting the challenge over at
Moving Along With The Times
this week. The theme I have chosen is:
No Image
So make the sentiment, floral arrangement or something similar the focal point.

I've been playing with my silhouette again. I cut the heart out in white before embossing with the dainty dots folder from Spellbinders. This was then added to a peachy/pink mat using foam to raise it.

I designed the Mr & Mrs heart which I cut out in white card then glittered. This was then glued over the heart aperture adding foam tape behind the letters which was very fiddly.
The flowers & flourishes were cut out using craft too & MB dies. Card candy was added to the center of the daisy flowers.

Hop on over to the main challenge blog for more fab inspiration.
Can't wait to see your creations

Secret Ladies

Good Evening crafters,

Another wet day here in Northampton, that's 3 days constant rain!
I had planned to spend some time in the garden but had to craft instead :)
It gave me a chance to get some stock cards done as I have a sale coming up in a couple of weeks.

I thought I would share a couple of cards I made whilst having my recent treatments that I never got round to posting. Both are simple CAS style.

Both cards were made using Serif Craft Artist 2 & the Secrets digi kit.
The one above was first mounted onto a black mat before being added to a glitter card mat.
Gems were added to both cards to embellish the hats

Simply feminine & beautiful images don't you think!

Enjoy your evening!

Sunday Sketch & Stamp # 208

 Morning all,
Well the weather has changed in time for the bank holiday as always.
Bright sunshine while we were at work now we have a bit of time off it hasn't stopped raining.
Might have to spend the day crafting!

There's a new challenge starting over at
Sunday Sketch & Stamp
Anne Marie has designed us this super sketch to work with

I have been trying to get more use out of my silhouette recently. I cut all the layers and mats out on it for this card including the image and sentiment. The silhouette is able to both print & cut which is great as it saves trying to find a die that fits, then getting the image central.

The image is Henry Driving from DigiStamp Boutique & was coloured with markers & chalk.
The papers are from Papermania and are years old.

Hope you will join in this weeks challenge. Hop on over to see what the DT created following the sketch.

Have a great day!

Sunday Sketch & Stamp # 207

Good Morning to you all,

Just a quick post from me this morning as I'm of to shop for storage & a desk for my crafty stash. At the moment I craft on the dining room table which is not ideal. So I thought as my Son has recently moved out I might use his bedroom to craft in as well as having a bed in there for any one who stays over.

Louise has designed a super sketch for you to play with over at
and here it is:

I rotated the sketch for my card

Sing Along @ MAWTT

Good Morning Crafters,

I'm here this morning to let you know there's a new challenge starting today over at
This weeks theme has been chosen by the Boss, Hazel
'I Heard it on the Radio'
I must say I really struggled with this one, do you think I could think of a catchy song.
I then got the stamps out and when I saw my Grandad stamp, I began singing Grandad by Clive Dunn. I have included the link so you to can sing along with Clive on You Tube.

Image - Crafters Comapnion stamp
Colouring medium - Markers, chalks & glossy accents. Oh and distress ink
Papers - printed from Male Camden Town CD by Crafters Companion

Hexagons, stars & Grandad was cut on the silhouette, I designed the Grandad which I was quite pleased with. Surprising what you can do when you try!!! I'm really liking my Silhouette at the moment, think it's because I've had time to play whilst being off work.

Hop on over to the challenge blog for some super, fab ideas.
Hope you will join in the fun and get everyone singing!!!
You may win this super prize,
'Mellow Yellow' by Donovan (even the prize resembles a catchy tune)

Sunday Sketch & Stamp #206

Good Morning crafters,
a very dull & windy one here in Northampton.
Still I'm going to stay indoors today as I plan to do a little spring clean in my lounge (better late than never!!!)

At the start of this month it was a DT buddies Birthday and I used this weeks sketch from
designed by the lovely Julie to make her a card.

Here is the card:

I always worry when making a card for a fellow crafters, especially when they are as talented as Debs.
I used a greyscale image that I added a hint of colour to with a little Pee Wee glitter (flower in hair & the dragonfly) & markers to the rest of the flowers which is difficult to see in the photo but it was there!
The paper was from the Crafters Companion Candem Town female CD which I glittered round the edges again with Pee Wee glitter.

Hop on over to the main challenge blog for more wonderful ideas.

Have a good day.
