Sunday Sketch & Stamp #211

Good Morning,
& what a lovely sunny one it is.

I am hosting this week's new challenge over at
I need to let you know of a few changes to the challenge - instead of a weekly sketch we will be moving to a fortnightly challenge.
In addition we will be picking our "DT Top Three" favorite rather than having one winner selected by random.org

Here is my sketch:

Hope you likey!
If you do why not get crafting and join in this fortnights challenge, the more the merrier.
This is my interpretation:

I had a rummage in my box of papers & found these super ones printed from the Chelsie didital paper pack from Sassy Designs & guess what, they have a sale on at the moment, well worth a look.
The doiley was cut on the silhouette it was free download & can be found here. Again well worth a look.
Both the image & the sentiment (plus mats) were printed and cut using the silhouette.
The image is from The Stamp Fairy & can be found here, they also have a sale on at the mo. I have used markers to colour in the image & added some glossy accents to the nose & some glamour dust to the stars.

Have a lovely day

One not to be missed!

Friday Sketch Challenge #72

Good Morning my crafty friends,
Hope you are all well and looking forward to the weekend. I can't believe how quick the weeks go!

It's time for a new sketch to play with over at
Friday Sketch Challenge
and here it is:

I have done some more paper piecing using Nitwits papers and a sweet owl image, not sure where this image came from as I did not file it properly. The rest of the image was coloured with markers & distress ink (to paint the bark) & glossy accents was added to the eyes. The sentiment was computer generated

Hope you will hop on over to the main challenge blog to see the creations my teamies have made

Pop up Ted

Good Evening,
I would like to say welcome to my new followers, I hope you like what you see.

I thought I would share a box card that I made a few weeks ago that my Sister asked me to make for her friend, can you guess what her name is?

The card base was cut on the silhouette. My Daughter helped me put the dimensions in and cut lines/score lines where they needed to be. The papers used are printed from the Camden Town female CD  which I am loving at the moment.

The name and butterflies were cut on the silhouette. The Stamp Fairy Bear was printed and cut on the silhouette then coloured with markers. The flowers were die cut using MB & Joy craft dies.

I was quite pleased with the end result so made a few for the craft sale I did a couple of weeks ago. They proved to be very popular but as always I did not have them with the wording on them made up so had to make to order. That meant no playing the next couple of crafting sessions!

Have a lovely evening

CAS @ MAWTT

Good Morning everyone,

It's time for a new challenge over at
The BOSS  Hazel is hosting this week
Clean & Simple
is her chosen theme

I grabbed this fab digi for free from Meljens Designs FB page the other weekend. It's called  'Number One Dad Stitched' which can be found here and has 50% off at the moment. I printed it off on a white piece of 5.5" card which was mounted onto a black mat. I then printed it off on a piece of blue & brown nitwits paper, cut out the letters and used them to paper piece the image.
I was pleased with the outcome so made a second one using the remaining letters.

Not sure which one I prefer! & I'm not sure why the card looks blue, it is definitely white

Hope one over to the main challenge blog for some fabulous ideas from the girls of team A.

Beautiful Mermaid

Hi Everyone,
I'm here to share a card I made for my Granddaughter in April which I never got round to posting.
She is mermaid mad and I had won an image from The Paper Shelter some time ago that I chose but never used. Ideal opportunity I thought.

I used photoshop and a couple of Raspberry Road papers from the Fruit Salad collection to create the background. The image Beautiful Mermaid was then added & once printed out was coloured with markers & chalks. Oh & some pee wee glitters were added for a bit of girly sparkle. The sentiment was printed & cut on the silhouette as was the numbers & scalloped mat.

Hope you are all enjoying the beautiful weather we are having at the moment.
Thank you for visiting today.

Sunday Sketch & Stamp #210

Good Afternoon, It should have been good morning but I am running late.
This is due to going away Thursday/Friday then being at a Church fair Saturday selling my bits. The weather was not kind to us so all the stalls were moved from the church yard to inside the church. Despite this the fair was very well attended and sales were OK!

has a new sketch for you to play with, compliments of me as Kathleen is having connection problems.
Here it is:
Hope you like it and will join in the challenge this week.

I was asked to make a card for my Son's partner for her Nephew who supports Everton. I used this brief along with this weeks sketch to make my DT card , what's the saying? Kill 2 birds with 1 stone!

I used a Meljens image which I coloured with markers. I printed off a Sassy Designs  paper in grey scale from the Harlow Digital Paper Pack. All layers were mounted onto black card and round the image I added a piece of bakers twine. The sentiment fish tails were designed and cut on the silhouette as were the stars.

Please do come and join in this weeks challenge, the more the merrier!

Sunday Sketch & Stamp #209

Morning everyone,
It's a bright & sunny morning here in Northampton.
Plan is to get my tomatoes out & make up my baskets & pots. Will it happen or won't it!
We also have little Harvey staying over so my Son Matthew could take out his Mummy Gemma. Matthew goes on his hols in a couple of weeks time which he had booked before Harvey was expected & they moved in together.

Must tell you about a new challenge starting today at
Sunday Sketch & Stamp
with this super sketch from the lovely Francesca

I made this quite simple card. The image is as it prints out  but I've added a little colour to the grass, super image for a quick & simple card. I thought the image was ideal for a Fathers Day card, on this occasion the Zebra is Daddy with his young. I kept the colours monochrome with a little silver matting.

Image - Delicious Doodles 'Zebra & Foal'.
Sentiment - Freebie from DigiStamp Boutique
Embossing folder - Spellbinder 'Dainty Dots
