FSC #89

Good Evening,

I must confess I am late posting this, the reason being, I worked my first full week this week after returning to work. I came home this evening, laid on the bed and fell asleep.

Now I'm awake I would like to share my DT card for the new challenge starting over at

This weeks sketch is mine, I hope you like!

and here's my card

I have used a fabby image called shabby-chic-birdhouse from this week's sponsor

more images can be found here
Hop on over to the main challenge blog to see what prize is on offer.

I printed off some papers from Raspberry Road which I distressed (must say I'm loving my new tool) and inked then added a little frantage.

Hope you will join in the challenge, want to see what you do with my sketch.

Have a great evening and lovely weekend.

So Grateful

Good Evening,
My arm is feeling a lot better now so am able to do a bit of crafting now :)

Thought I would share a hanging I made recently.
The heart was cut out of chipboard, covered in paper then sanded round the edges to give a smooth finish. I then used distress ink to stamp flourishes round the edge before inking  the edges with the same ink. The sentiment was printed onto some paper, the edge was torn and inked before adding to the heart. A piece of lace and pleated seam binding was then added.

The flowers are all handmade.
The largest one is made from several layers of scalloped circle die cuts.
The daisy type flowers are punched in different size and some were layered up.
The leaves were die cut in kraft card , edges inked and waxed.

Finishing touches, bit of twine and some glittered butterflies

Have a lovely evening

Flying High

Good Morning,

What a beautiful day we had yesterday, I hope it's here to stay!
Makes you feel so much better doesn't it?

I have my DT card to share with you this morning for the new challenge starting over at
This weeks theme chosen by the lovely Wendy is:
Pink/Lilac &/or Butterflies
I went for pink & butterflies

I got a distressing tool which I used to distress the four  My Minds Eye-In Bloom squares and a piece of white. The butterflies (my Daughters design) and ovals (birds free cutting file) were cut on the silhouette. Frayed burlap distress ink was applied to all pieces and used to stamp the sentiment. To finish off, pearls were added to the bodies of the butterflies. How simple  but quite pleasing.

Hop on over to the main challenge blog to see what the talented DT have created.
We have some new team members joining us this week, it would be good if they got a welcome visit.

Life Begins!

Good Afternoon,

I'm here today to let you know there's a new challenge starting today over at
This weeks theme is
'Your Favourite Colour Combo'
I don't really have a favourite colour combo but am liking yellow & grey together at the moment

I used markers, chalks, glossy accents & glitter to colour in this image from Stamping Bella.
The papers are from My Minds Eye-In Bloom a fave of mine at the mo.
The sentiment was computer generated and the number was cut on the silhouette.

Hop on over to see what the talented DT's fave colour combo is here

FSC #88

Good Evening,

Good news about my fracture clinic appointment. I have an undisplaced fracture of the radial head which I need no treatment for but need to do some prescribed exercises to get the full use bak, wearing the sling only when needed.

So I've had a little play with an image from this weeks sponsor at

I have paper pieced her dress with the same paper I used for the background, Girls bear too - Nit Wits
The rest of the image was coloured using markers, chalks, glossy accents & a clear star gelly roll pen.
The sentiment is a stamp from LOTV & the flowers are punched, layered up and cosmic shimmer centers, the leaves are die cuts.

Hop on over to the main challenge blog here for more ideas
